During this Covid-19 time, some things have changed at the park while they restaff.
Please see below for what is happening and where to get more information.
Our camp store/office will not be open come May 21st for retail business such as ice, wood, pop, candy, merchandise, etc. (I) Plan to have myself & camp host by the camp office window w/those that have reservations coming in for holiday season to check them in. My staff (is) trying to get the 3 shower houses opened back up. At this time, we don’t plan to open anymore restrooms in the day-use areas besides what’s open now (West Bank, Luthman, & Filburns Romtec) until we get more park staff on board. No further word yet w/special events, activities, group camp/shelter house, pavilion, playground beyond May 31st

Parks Response to COVID-19
Ohio State Parks is committed to offering safe outdoor adventures at all of its parks.
Beginning May 21, most state park campgrounds will re-open but for the safety of our guests and staff, a reservation will be required to camp.
No walk-in campsites will be offered.
Campers are urged to practice “self-contained” camping, whenever possible and follow all COVID-19 protocols. Restrooms and shower houses are limited.
Other overnight accommodations and amenities, such as cabins, getaway rentals, group camps, shelters, camp stores, pools, and splash pads, will remain closed.
